Arduino Ethernet Shield is an ethernet shield prepared and produced using the circuit diagram provided by Arduino.
It is fully compatible with the original Arduino Ethernet Shield, and all libraries and codes prepared for it can also be used in this shield.
Using Arduino Ethernet Shield, you can connect your Arduino card to the internet in a few minutes.
Plug the Ethernet Shield onto the Arduino, and plug the RJ45 cable into the Ethernet shield. By following a few steps, you can start controlling the Arduino over the internet.
Arduino Ethernet Shield allows you to connect to the internet via ethernet.
Based on the Wiznet W5100 IC, this card is compatible with both TCP and UCP.
Arduino Ethernet Shield supports 4 simultaneous socket connections.
By connecting the Ethernet cable to the standard RJ45 Ethernet socket on the Shield, you can quickly connect Arduino to the internet with the Ethernet Library.
Arduino Ethernet Shield is also available in a Poe model.
You can check out the Arduino Ethernet Shield with Poe product.
There is an SD card slot on the card.
In this way, you can write and read various information on the SD card.
You can use the SD card with SD Library.
SS pin of the SD card; pin is 4.
Arduino, Wiznet W5100, which is an Ethernet Shield processor, and the SD card communicate with Arduino via SPI line.
These pins are 11,12 and 13 in UNO, and 50,51 and 52 in MEGA.
In both models, pin 10 is the selection pin of the W5100 and pin 4 is the selection pin of the SD card.
These pins are not used as general input and output pins.
In Arduino MEGA, hardware SS pin (pin 53) is not used for SD card or W5100.
However, this pin must be set as the output pin.
An important point to note is that since the W5100 and the SD card use the same SPI line, only one of them is active at the same time.
If two communications are desired to be made at the same time, care should be taken to ensure that the library used is common.
If you are not going to use both at the same time, you need to deactivate the part you are not using.
To deactivate the SD card, you need to show the 4th pin as an output and give 5V (high) output from this pin.
To deactivate W5100, you need to show the 10th pin as output and give 5V (high) output.
Note: You can check out the Arduino Ethernet product for the combined version of Ethernet Shield and Uno.
It is a shield that offers easy prototyping in your rduino projects.
It has 2 buttons and LEDs.
There are vertical rows of pins for integrated soldering in the prototyping area, and horizontal rows of pins that make power connections easier.
Additionally, 5V and GND connections are positioned so that output can be obtained with separate female headers.
There is enough space on it to fit a mini breadboard.
